MADISON, Wis. —  The Wisconsin women's basketball team (13-12, 6-9 B1G) is set to play the Purdue Boilermakers (11-15, 4-11 B1G) on Sunday, Feb. 25. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. from the Kohl Center and the game can be streamed live on Big Ten Network or listened to on 1070 WTSO-AM.

Here are five things to know before the Badgers matchup against the Boilermakers:

1. BADGERS WIN THE RIVALRY: For the second-consecutive season, Wisconsin swept Minnesota in the Border Battle. En route to the Badgers' 67-56 win over the Golden Gophers on Tuesday, Feb. 20, the team never once trailed and led by as many as 19 points during the game. In total, Serah Williams has recorded 64 points and recorded 30 rebounds this season against Minnesota and has been a key contributor in securing four-straight Badger victories over their division rivals.

2. NEVER ENDING DOUBLE-DOUBLES: Once again, Williams ended with a double-double, this time recording 30 points and 15 rebounds against the Gophers. The sophomore was responsible for almost half of the team's points and contributed 11 of Wisconsin's 13 points in the third quarter. Williams continues to lead the Big Ten in rebounds, averaging 11.3 per game and is third in scoring with an average of 18.6 points.

3. BALANCING THE OFFENSE: Against Minnesota, Williams, Sania Copeland and D'Yanis Jimenez all scored in double digits. Williams had 30, Copeland scored 12 and Jimenez notched 10 points off the bench. This was Copeland's highest scoring game since Dec. 21 when she recorded a dozen points off of four three pointers. As for the freshman, Jimenez's last double-digit scoring bout came on January 27 against Rutgers when she collected 10 points

4. HISTORY WITH PURDUE: Wisconsin and Purdue will meet for the 80th time in each program's history when the two teams play one another Sunday. Purdue leads the all-time series 57-22, and is 18-15 when playing in Madison. The Boilermakers have won the last three meetings against the Badgers dating back to Jan. 1, 2023. In the two teams' last meeting, Purdue won, 89-50, in West Lafayette back on Dec. 30, 2023. Wisconsin's last win against Purdue came on Dec. 27, 2022 when the Badgers overcame a 22-point deficit to defeat Purdue on the road in the last regular season game of the 2021-22 season.

5. SCOUTING THE BOILERMAKERS: The Purdue Boilermakers are 4-11 in conference play, ranking 12th in the Big Ten. So far, Purdue's wins have come against Wisconsin, Rutgers, Illinois and Northwestern. The leading scorer for the Boilermakers is Abbey Ellis, who averages 13.1 points per game to go with 3.6 rebounds. She is followed by Caitlyn Harper, who averages 11.0 points and is shooting 55.0% on the season. Purdue has one of the conference's best rebounders, with Jeanae Terry averaging 7.1 per game, which ties her for seventh in the Big Ten.
