MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin women's basketball team (1-0, 0-0 B1G) will continue their homestand by hosting the Georgetown Hoyas (1-0, 0-0 Big East) on Sunday, Nov. 10. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m. (CT) inside the Kohl Center. The game will be streamed on B1G+ and 1070 WTSO-AM.Â
Here are five things to know before the Badgers face the Hoyas:
1. A GLANCE AT THE SEASON:Â With just one game completed the Badgers have already broken records.
Serah Williams earned her 23

th all-time.
Ronnie Porter had a career-high in points scoring 19, while veteran Halle Douglas secured 11 rebounds, setting a new career-high.Â
2. LAST TIME OUT:Â The Badgers conquered the Wright State Raiders in their season opener, 95-68. This was the most-ever points the Badgers have scored in a season opener. Wisconsin outscored the Raiders in 21-10 in fast breaks, while shooting an efficient 45.6 percent from the field.
3. HISTORY WITH GEORGETOWN:Â The Badgers have faced the Hoyas once in 1982 under Edwina Qualls. UW fell short by just one point, 65-64.
4. SCOUTING THE HOYAS:Â Georgetown is a meber of the BIG EAST Conference. Last season, the Hoyas held a 9-9 conference record under head coach Darnell Haney, who was in his interim season. The team went on a run, advancing to the BIG EAST championship game. Georgetown retains their top scorer, Kelsey Ransom who banked 494 points with 14.1 per game last season. Â
5. LOOKING AHEAD:Â The Badgers will head to South Dakota State for the first road game of the season. Tip-off is set for Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 7:00 p.m. (CT).
