MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin women's basketball team will travel to Minneapolis this week for the Big Ten Tournament. The No.10 Badgers will face No. 7 Purdue on Thursday, March 2 at 5:30 p.m.
Here are five things to know before the tournament begins:

UPSET!: Wisconsin closed out the regular season with an upset against No. 12 Michigan on Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center. Julie Pospisilova led the Badgers to a 78-70 victory, as she finished with 25 points, six rebounds and five assists. Maty Wilke added 15 points, and Avery LaBarbera had 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds. The win marked Wisconsin's first victory against Michigan since 2014.

BADGERS ARE HOT: With Sunday's win, the Badgers have won four of their last five games, and extended their win streak to three in-a-row. This marks Wisconsin's longest conference win streak since 2010-11. Additionally, the team finished the season with six Big Ten wins, which is its best finish since going 10-6 in the 2010-11 season.

ANOTHER ONE: Freshman Serah Williams earned her third Big Ten Freshman of the Week award this season, and was named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team on Tuesday. She averaged 13.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game this week, in the Badgers' three-straight wins. Williams is leading the Big Ten in blocks (54) and is tied for the lead in blocks per game (1.9).

JULIE P: Senior Julie Pospisilova finished her career as a Badger on a hot streak, and was recnogzied as an All-Big Ten honorable mention for the second straight season on Tuesday. Pospisilova has scored in double-figures in her last eight games. The senior is leading Wisconsin in points and assists this season, as she is averaging 14.0 points and 4.3 assists per game. She also ranks eighth in the Big Ten in assists.

WISCONSIN VS. PURDUE: The Badgers trail the overall series with Purdue, 10-15. Wisconsin is 1-5 against Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament, with the most recent matchup in the tournament coming in 2015, as the No. 11 Badgers fell 58-56 to the No. 14 Boilermakers in the first round of the tournament . Wisconsin faced Purdue just once this season, on Jan. 1, 2023 in West Lafayette. Purude came out on top, 73-61. Avery LaBarbera led the Badgers with 16 points and six rebounds.
