MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin women's basketball team (8-18, 3-11 Big Ten) will travel to Iowa City to face the No. 7 Hawkeyes on Wednesday night. Tip off is set for 6:30 p.m. and will be available on B1G+ and WIBA.

Before the tip off, here are five things to know:

  1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers secured a Border Battle sweep on Saturday afternoon, with a 76-70 overtime win against Minnesota. In their second win of the season against the Gophers, Julie Pospisilova led the Badgers with 22 points and four steals. Brooke Schramek added 20 points and six rebounds. Maty Wilke rounded out double-figure scoring with 11 points, and recorded a career-high seven steals.

  2. BIG D: Wisconsin forced 24 turnovers for the Gophers, who typically average 17.7 turnovers per game. Wisconsin cashed in with 26 points off Minnesota's miscues. Additionally, the Badgers tallied 16 steals on the game, with six different Badgers recording at least one steal.

  3. JULIE P: Senior guard Julie Pospisilova has been a bright spot for the Badgers, as she has scored in double figures in six of her last seven games. Serah Williams and Pospisilova lead the team in scoring, both averaging 13.2 points per game. The senior also leads the team in assists, recording 110 assists this season, averaging 4.2 assists per game. 

  4. SOLID FROM THE STRIPE: Wisconsin finished the game, 20-of-23 from the free throw line. Minnesota sent the Badgers to the line eight times in overtime, where Wisconsin converted on six of those attempts. Ultimately, sealing the win for the Badgers. 

  5. SCOUTING IOWA: The No. 7 Hawkeyes hold a 20-5 record overall, and stand second in Big Ten rankings with a 12-2 record in conference play. Iowa is led by Caitlin Clark, as she is averaging 27.4 points per game, and ranks second in the NCAA for points per game. Iowa ranks first in the country for scoring offense, averaging 88.5 points per game.
