Game Notes Wisconsin | Ohio State

MADISON, Wis. - Wisconsin (7-15, 2-8 B1G) will face No. 10 Ohio State (19-3, 8-3 B1G) on Wednesday night at the Kohl Center. Tip is set for 6:30 p.m. and the game will be available on B1G+ and WIBA.

Before the tip, here are five things to know:

  1. LAST TIME OUT: On a very special day at the Kohl Center, as Theresa Huff's jersey was raised into the rafters, the Badgers were unable to close it out against Northwestern, and suffered a 70-67 loss. Wisconsin was led by freshman Serah Williams, who finished the game with 21 points, going 8-for-13 from the field.

  2. ALL EYES ON WILLIAMS: Freshman Serah Williams has scored in double figures in six straight games. She is shooting 60.2% from the field in that stretch, and is averaging 12.4 points per game. Williams has led the team in blocks 16-of-21 games this season, and is tied for third in the conference with 1.5 blocks per game.

  3. HOT HANDS: The Badgers shot 49% against the Wildcats, going 25-for-51 from the field. They had four players in double figures, and are now averaging 68.4 points per game.

  4. BOARDS FOR LABARBERA: 5-6 guard Avery LaBarbera had a team-high nine rebounds on Sunday. She is averaging 5.2 rebounds per game, second-highest on the team behind Julie Pospisilova, and has led the team in rebounds five times this season.

  5. SCOUTING OHIO STATE: The No. 10 Buckeyes are coming off a 73-65 loss at home against Purdue. Ultimately, adding to their now, three-game losing streak, after dropping their previous games to Indiana and Iowa. Ohio State is led by Taylor Mikesell and Jacy Sheldon, who are averaging 17.7 and 16 points per game, respectively
