MADISON, Wis. — The Badgers (6-17, 3-10 B1G) return home for two straight games as they count down the regular season. Wisconsin hosts Purdue (14-10, 5-8) for the first time in two weeks on Senior Day Sunday. Game time is 1 p.m. streamed live on B1G+. Sunday's game is a rescheduled of the Dec. 30 game that was postponed due to COVID protocols on the Badger team.

Here are five things to know before tuning in.

1. SENIOR DAY: The Badgers celebrate Senior Day on Sunday, honoring graduate student Katie Nelson as well as five managers and practice players.

Nelson followed head coach Marisa Moseley to Madison, starting all 23 games this season, leading the nation in minutes played and ranking fourth in minutes per game. At BU, the 5-foot-8 guard earned three All-Patriot League honors, including first-team accolades in 2021. Nelson started all 103 games of her career with the Terriers, leading the team in assists and minutes played every year. She was also a three-time member of the Academic Honor Roll and member of the 2018 Patriot League All-Rookie team. For her career, Nelson has played in 126 games, scoring nearly 1,300 points and dishing off more than 450 assists.

2. EQUALITY AND INCLUSION AWARENESS:
Sunday's game is part of the Coaches DEI Alliance's inaugural Equality and Inclusion awareness campaign. The DEI Alliance, made up of 12 minority and social justice coaching organizations, is asking coaches and staff to wear all black on the sidelines as well as the "equal sign" lapel pin created to symbolize equality. Equality and Inclusion can pertain to racial equality, LGBTQ+ rights, gender equity, economic equality and more.

3. WE LIKE IT ON SUNDAY: The Badgers like playing on Sunday in 2022 where they are 3-2 in the new year, including a 2-0 mark at home. UW defeated Penn State, 69-57, at home on Jan. 23 and Illinois, 70-62, on Feb. 6.

4. BATTLING BROOKE:
Sophomore Brooke Schramek has scored in double figures the last four games in a row, a career best for the forward. She averages 14.3 points per game over the span, shooting 48.7% (19-39) from the field, including 60% (6-10) from 3-point range, and 86.7% (13-15) from the free-throw line. Schramek also adds 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 blocks per game over the stretch.

5. COUNTING DOWN WITH KATIE:
Grad student Katie Nelson is counting down to 1,300 career points, needing 16 tallies. The guard has played at least 40 minutes in eight games this season, leading the nation with  872 minutes played while leading the Big Ten and ranking fourth nationally, averaging 37.9 minutes per game.
