Here are five things to know before the Badgers compete against the Boilermakers.

1. LAST TIME VS. ILLINOIS: The Badgers fell to the Fighting Illini in their first game back in over two weeks on Thursday. Wisconsin started out strong going 8-for-12 from the floor while upholding the team's strongest field goal percentage of the night at 66.6%, led by Serah Williams going 3-for-3 in the first quarter. A 9-0 run by the Badgers in the second quarter kept the game close, however, Illinois pulled away in the second half after starting it on a 11-3 run.

2. PACED BY POSPISILOVA: Julie Pospisilova continues to lead the way for the Badgers as she is averaging 13.7 per game. Against Illinois, the senior finished with 18 points, six assists, and eight rebounds, marking the second straight game she has led the team in those three categories.

3. DOMINANT DEFENSE: Avery LaBarbera had a season-high number of steals against llinois with five on the night. Along with the caused turnovers, LaBarbera grabbed six defensive rebounds to secure the ball for the Badgers. The graduate student ranks second on the team in defensive rebounds (59) and assists (39).

4. PURDUE 21-22 REVIEW: Wisconsin won both of its games against Purdue last season in thrilling fashion. The Badgers first overcame a 22-point deficit to beat the Boilermakers 54-52, marking the largest comeback in Big Ten history. Wisconsin followed with a 63-62 road victory as Brooke Schramek blocked Purdue's potential game-winning shot as the buzzer sounded. The win marked UW's fifth Big Ten victory of the season, marking its most conference wins since the 2014-15 season.

5. SCOUTING THE BOILERMAKERS: Wisconsin enters Sunday's matchup with a two-game win streak and trails 10-14 record in the all-time series. Purdue currently has a 10-3 record on the season and is 1-2 in the Big Ten, with its most recent outcome an 83-63 defeat to No. 10/12 Iowa. The Boilermakers are led by Lasha Petree, a fifth year, who is averaging 18.2 points per game with 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
