Badgers host Boilermakers for Think Pink night

MADISON, WIS.- In one of their last three home games of the season, the Badgers are hosting Purdue on Thursday for the teams' second matchup of the season. The last time the two faced each other was on Dec. 31 in West Lafayette, where Wisconsin fell 72-61. Both teams are back for round two, Purdue looking to attempt a regular-season sweep, something they haven't been able to do against Wisconsin since 2009.

Here are five things to know before tip off at 7 p.m.

1. Points on Points: Earlier last week, Abby Laszewski tied her career-high 25 points against Minnesota at home. Following that, she set a new career-high with 26 points on Sunday at Ohio State. She went 11-15 from the field and 4-5 from the free throw line in Columbus.

2. Keep the Streak Alive: Imani Lewis put up 12 points at Ohio State to extend her double-digit scoring streak to 14 games. She also grabbed 11 rebounds to seal the double-double, making that 15 career double-doubles, 10 this season alone. The sophomore stands in 10th place for career double-doubles and tied for sixth for most double-doubles in a season.

3. Boilermaker Ball: Purdue is currently 6-7 in the conference, with the team most recently recording three losses in a row. Most recently, to No. 17 ranked Iowa, the final score was 71-83. The Boilermakers are led in scoring by Ae'Rianna Harris, who averages 13.1 ppg, followed by Karissa McLaughlin and Dominque Oden, who both average 12.9 ppg. Harris also leads the team in rebounds, averaging 8.2 per game.

4. Think Pink: Wisconsin will be hosting its annual PLAY4KAY Think Pink Night on Thursday. The Badgers are trading their home whites for pink, and fans are also encouraged to wear pink as well for breast cancer awareness. Tickets for the game are available here for $2 each. Badger Fans following along from home can stream the game on BTN+ or tune in to the U 100.9.

5. Games that Remain: The Badgers hit the road to face No. 17 Iowa on Sunday, before returning home to host No. 10 Maryland on Wednesday. Wisconsin's last two regular-season games will be played at home against No. 19 Northwestern on Feb. 22 and away at Rutgers on Feb. 27.
