MADISON, WIS.- The Badgers return home after four games on the road to host the Alabama State Hornets on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m.
Here are five things to know before tip-off.

Bison in the Bag: Wisconsin defeated NDSU on Sunday, 64-63.
Kendra Van Leeuwen led the team with 13 points.
Abby Laszewski had 12 and
Imani Lewis 11.

Senior Sensations: Van Leeuwen has recently moved into the top ten all-time for career assists at Wisconsin. She had three more against NDSUÂ and two steals. Laszewski is closing in on the top ten for career blocks and is just 10 away from tying 10th place with 104 career blocks.

Alabama State Stats: Currently the Hornets are 3-4, coming off a loss against South Florida, 80-29. Sophomore Ayana Emmanuel was named SWAC Freshman of the Year after averaging 13.4 points last season. Fellow sophomores Jayla Crawford and Shmya Ward join her on the Preseason All-SWAC team. Head coach Freda Freeman-Jackson, who is in her 22nd season at ASU, has been named to the SWAC Hall of Fame Class of 2019.
