MADISON, WIS.- The Badgers continue their home series as they host Prairie View A&M on Friday Dec. 20. at 7 p.m.

Here are five things to know before tip-off.

1. Hand It to the Hornets: Wisconsin recently took down Alabama State at home, 85-67. Niya Beverley had a night, scoring 17 points overall and nine in just the first quarter. 

2. Racking Up the Stats: The Badgers currently have two players averaging over 10 points per game. Imani Lewis is averaging 12.8 and Abby Laszewski 11.6. The pair also lead in rebounds per game, Laszewski with 6.9 and Lewis with 6.8.

3. Panther Preview: PVAMU is currently 2-8, most recently falling to Texas Tech 48-82. The team is led in scoring by Bernesha Peters and Kennedy Paul, averaging 10.4 and 9.1 points per game, respectively. 

4. Big Ten Time: Wisconsin will open their Big Ten conference play at home as they host Rutgers on Saturday Dec. 28. Tip-off is at 2 p.m.
