MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin women's basketball team (8-3) is back in action Friday night after a nine-day break for final exams. UW looks to ace out Evansville (2-8) in the final non-conference game of the season. Tip time is 7 p.m. from the Kohl Center.

1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers wasted no time making its intentions known Wednesday night at the Kohl Center after defeating Chicago State, 85-38. UW jumped out to an early lead over CSU and never looked back. Going into halftime, UW held onto a 50-20 lead, behind contributions from nearly the entire roster. In the second quarter, all of Wisconsin's points came from eight players, who helped UW outscore CSU 21-7.

2. DOUBLE FIGURES: Five Badgers scored in double figures against the Cougars, marking the first time since Savannah State on Dec. 10, 2017. Marsha Howard (13), Alex Luehring (13), Imani Lewis (12), Kelly Karlis (10), and Abby Laszewski (10) all tallied 10-or-more points. Twelve Badgers saw action with 11 of the 12 scoring.

3. DOWNTOWN ABBY: Junior Abby Laszewski recorded her first career double-double against Chicago State, scoring 10 points and tying her career high with 10 rebounds.

4. OWNING THE GLASS: UW restored their domination off the glass, outrebounding the Cougars, 56-41, contributing to 16 second-chance points. Wisconsin ranks second in the nation in total rebounds, tallying 549 on the year. The Badgers also rank fifth nationally and lead the Big Ten with 48.1 boards per game. UW is 19th nationally with a 10.6 rebounding margin.

5. SCOUTING THE PURPLE ACES: The two teams face each other for just the third time in school history. UW leads the all-time series, 2-0. Most recently the Purple Aces used a strong defensive effort late to push past Austin Peay, 56-52. Senior Marley Miller finished just two points shy of tying her career-high with 18 points, hitting four three-pointers and recording five rebounds to lead the Aces. Fellow senior Brooke Bishop joined Miller in double-figures with 10 points, nine of which were scored in the first half.
