UW sits in 13th after Round 2
RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico -- The Wisconsin men's golf team sits in 13th after Round 2 of the Puerto Rico Classic at the Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande. UW is -11, and second in the field with 124 pars.
Junior James Boustead fired a career-low 67 (-5) on Tuesday, going bogey-free with five birdies. The South African moved up 28 spots into 53rd-place, and was one-of-six players to birdie Hole 9.
After firing a 68 (-4) during Round 1, Jason Shwartz had a clean round with 15 pars, an eagle, and a birdie, to shoot -2. The Floridian paces UW on the leaderboard, sitting in 22nd at -6.
Senior Spencer Turtz climbed 10 spots into 49th after a -2 outing. He kept it steady all day with three birdies, yielding only one bogey.
Jacob Beckman rounded out the UW scoring with a +1 finish, now sitting in 73rd, while William Harned is in 81st at +5.
Redshirt sophomore Charles Erlandson is in 46th after a bogey-free, -3 round, where he made 16 pars. The Verona native leads the field in pars with 30.Round 1

William Harned and Spencer Turtz both finished even on the card, and are tied for 59th.
Grad student Jacob Beckman rounded out the UW scoring with a +1, 73, to sit in 67th-place, while James Boustead is in 81st at +4. Redshirt sophomore Charles Erlandson joins Turtz and Harned at even, and in 59th, competing individually.
