The junior began with a 70 (-1) in the first round on Monday and followed that up with an eight-stroke improvement to tie the record for lowest single-round score in the program's history.

At the Moraine Intercollegiate, junior Cody Guetzke led the Badgers with a seventh-place finish in even-par. Guetzke finished the tournament with a one-under 70 on Tuesday, improving his position by seven places in the process.

The Badgers played their best round of the tournament on Tuesday, finishing at three-under and climbing five spots to finish in third place. VCU won the team event at seven-over and was followed by Minnesota at nine-over.
