IOWA CITY, IOWA- The Badgers fell to the No. 17 Hawkeyes on Sunday. The final score was 97-71.
Imani Lewis lead Wisconsin with 17 points against Iowa, her 16th straight game for the Badgers scoring double digits. She also led in rebounds with 12. That marks her 11th double-double of this season, tying her for fifth place with most double-doubles in a season. She also moved out of the tie for 10th for most career double-doubles with
Marsha Howard and now is the sole owner of 10th with 16.
Freshman
Sydney Hilliard also scored in double-digits for the Badgers, hitting 10 points.
Another freshman,
Sara Stapleton, saw a career-high eight points at Iowa as she went 3-4 from the field and 2-3 from the free-throw line.
After going 2-4 from behind the arc,
Suzanne Gilreath has now claimed fourth place for most made threes with 208.
The Hawkeyes had four players in the double-digits. Kathleen Doyle led the field with 22 points, followed by McKenna Warnock with 20, Monika Czinano with 19 and Makenzie Meyer with 13. Amanada Ollinger led the team in rebounds with 10.
The Badgers return to the Kohl Center this week for thier last two home games of the regular season to host No. 10 Maryland on Wednesday and No. 19 Northwestern on Saturday.
