BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Wisconsin men's soccer (7-4-3 overall, 3-3-1 Big Ten) suffered a heartbreaking loss to top-ranked Indiana (13-0-3, 5-0-2 Big Ten) in Bloomington on Saturday night. Wisconsin played the daunting Hoosiers to a brilliant game that ultimately ended in the final minute of double overtime with a 2-1 Indiana win.

After falling behind 1-0 in the first minute of the match, the Badgers put their game faces on and stepped it up a couple notches. It was senior Tom Barlow who put the equalizer in the Hoosier net off assists from sophomore Robin Olofsson and junior Noah Leibold in the 77th minute, forcing overtime. 

In the final minute of double overtime, Indiana's Mason Toye clinched the golden goal off of a free kick from 30 yards out.

Indiana led shots 23-11 and shots on goal 12-5. However, Barlow was a handful for the Hoosiers. On top of his goal, Barlow tallied three shots. 

Senior Philipp Schilling was a force against the Indiana offense, which ranks seventh in the nation in scoring offense. The Wisconsin goalkeeper faced a flurry of shots, gathering 10 saves and holding Indiana's high-powered offense to two goals.
