2021-22: Competed in a meet against Arizona and Hawaii and placed third in the 200 IM (2:05.13), third in the 200 medley relay (1:42.35), third in the 400 medley relay (3:42.66), fourth in the 200 breast (2:19.12) and sixth in the 100 breast (1:04.62) (10/22-23)
2020-21: Swam in a meet against Minnesota and Purdue and was a member of the ‘A’ relay team that placed second in the 200 medley relay (1:40.58), placed fifth in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.82), took fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:16.95) and placed sixth in the 200 IM in a time of 2:03.49 (1/23)...competed in a meet against Northwestern and Illinois and was a member of the ‘A’ relay team that placed second in the 400 medley relay (3:36.07), took sixth in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.53), placed sixth in the 200 breaststroke (2:16.76) and placed sixth in the 200 IM in a time of 2:02.30 (2/6)...competed in the Big Ten Championships and was a member of the 200 medley relay team that took fifth place (1:38.65), qualified for the C final of the 200 IM and placed 18th overall (1:58.89), was a member of the 400 medley relay team that placed fourth (3:33.96), qualified for the B final of the 100 breaststroke and placed 14th overall (1:01.06) and qualified for the B final of the 200 breaststroke and placed 10th overall in a time of 2:12.13 (2/23-2/27)
2018-19:Tallied a trio of finals showings in the 200 IM (1:59.97), 100 breast (1:01.44) and 200 breast (2:11.82) at the Big Ten championships ... placed first in the 200 breast (2:22.05) and second in the 100 breast (1:05.43) in Badger debut vs. Green Bay … assisted in 200 medley relay victory (1:41.23) vs. Minnesota … qualified for 200 breast finals, finishing 11th overall (2:15.92), 100 breast finals, placing 11th overall (1:02.40) and 200 IM finals, touching 14th overall (2:01.50) at the Texas Hall of Fame Invitational … was the Badgers’ third-place finisher in the 200 breast (2:19.78) vs. Iowa and Northwestern
Prep: Five-time Wisconsin Division 2 state champion … won back-to-back 100 breast titles as a junior and senior … also claimed 200 IM, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay championships as a senior … set state record as part of Edgewood’s 200 medley relay as a senior … 14-time all-state selection … winter and summer Speedo Junior Nationals qualifier as a junior and senior … three-year team MVP at Edgewood … also competed in track and field … high school coach was Emily Schwabe … club coach was Shane Ryan
Personal: Parents are Scott and Amy Silvestri … has three siblings, Luke, Ally and Joby … father was a swimmer at Wisconsin … mother swam at Miami University … grandfather, Carl Silvestri, played football at Wisconsin and was draft pick of the Atlanta Falcons, playing three NFL seasons
