Best part of being able to play in home-state?
BADGER PRIDE! Growing up with so many people always rooting for the Wisconsin Badgers is awesome! And to finally be a badger is an amazing feeling!

At what age did you begin playing soccer and what can you remember from that experience?
I started playing soccer when I was in fifth grade. I will always remember my father being one of the coaches and playing with all my good friends. The best part was of course the orange slices that a parent would bring us for half time.

If you could play any other sport at the UW, what would it be and why?
I would love to play on the tennis team at the UW. I played it very competitively growing up and had to give it up for soccer. I continue to play it for fun with friends and love that the sport can stick with me through my entire life!

Most embarrassing moment (on or off the field)?
I was at a 3 v. 3 training and we were doing agility work. I tripped on the ladder and landed directly on top of the hurdle in front of me and fell completely on my face. My teammates fell over laughing at me. It was pretty pathetic and embarrassing.

What have you learned most about the transition from high school to college?
In my transition from high school to college I have learned about independence and the importance of time management.

What went into your decision to attend the UW?
I grew up with a passion for the UW. Both my parents are alumni at the university and I attended all badger football games growing up. My middle name is even Rose because the badgers won the Rose Bowl the year I was born. It has always been my dream to attended the UW, being such a highly acclaimed academic university.
