Erica Yost joined the Badgers as the team’s video coordinator and director of scouting in August of 2019.
Yost spent three years at Bradley University, overseeing the team’s video elements in addition to supporting the staff’s administrative duties. She aided the Braves to improved overall records all three years, marking the first time in program history that BU had a better win total four straight seasons. In 2018-19, the Braves had their first 20-win season since 2008-09 as well as their best Missouri Valley Conference record (10-8) and finish (fifth) since 2009-10.
“I am grateful to join an ascending program like Wisconsin,” said Yost. “I look forward to using my past experiences with video and graphics to both help and promote the program.”
A native of Detroit, Yost spent the 2015-16 school year as an assistant coach at Christ Church Episcopal High School in Greenville, South Carolina, helping guide her squad to a 1A state championship. She also coached at several AAU programs during her time in Greenville. In addition she interned with Athletes in Action, both in the Xenia, Ohio, home office and in Puebla, Mexico, where she assisted planning outreach events along with advising Latin American students.
A graduate of Goshen College in Indiana, Yost was a double major, earning degrees in youth ministry and physical education. She transferred to Goshen College for her final two years of eligibility after playing her freshman and sophomore seasons at Huntington University.
