2024: One of two Badgers to start in all 52 games for the Badgers this year... Started off the season at second base before shifting over to shortstop for the majority of the season... put together a breakout year at the plate, leading the team in runs scored (31), hits (50), doubles (15) and total bases (94)... had the second highest batting average and on-base plus slugging percentage, with a slash line of .318/.377/.599...sported a 1.107 OPS in conference games, and recorded a hit in every home game this season, going 20-for-45... earned All-Conference honors.
2023: Appeared in 24 games in her first year with Wisconsin…thirteen of those appearances were starts for the Badgers, primarily coming in the beginning of the season…her first hit for the team was a home run against Georgia Tech in the seventh inning…she finished the season with a total of four hits and six runs…with fourteen assists and eighteen put outs, Kuszak ended with a .914 fielding percentage.
High School: 4x League Champions for Holy Family High School varsity softball team...3x 4A Softball State Champion...named 4A All-State First Team, 4A All-Conference, and Colorado Sportswoman of the year senior year...4x Academic All-State...4A Varsity Soccer State Champion 2021 and 2021 State Qualifier for swimming...18U Premier Girls Fastpitch National Champion for Nebraska Gold 18s National...Top Gun Invite Champions 2021...played for Team USA in the International Challenge in 2021.
Personal: Daughter of Tricia Kuszak and Kevin Kuszak...has one younger brother, Cole Kuszak...planning to major in Animal Science on the Pre-Vet Track.
Why Wisconsin:Â I chose the University of Wisconsin because as soon as I stepped on campus it felt like my home away from home. Starting with the campus, to the players, coaches, and people in Wisconsin, I knew that Madison was a place where I would thrive in my faith and as a person and player.
