2026: Earned Big Ten Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 30 for performances versus Maryland; first of career...Named to 2026 Big Ten Softball Watch List...Started nearly every game at catcher for the Badgers, 53-of-54 games...Barreled her 20th home run of her career against Army at the Paradise Classic (02/09)...Hit her first career grand slam against Iowa State, accumulating four RBIs in a single game for the fifth time in career (02/16)...Blomberg ranks second all-time in program history for most games with four RBIs at seven. Chloe Miller holds the record at nine between 2014-17 (03/29)...Hit 7-for-16 (.438 BA) at the ASU/GCU Invitational, including five extra base hits...Became just the fifth Badger to hit 30 home runs in a career (03/29), tied for the third-most in program history...Leads team with 19 multi-hit games, recently tallying a pair of hits against Michigan, including a HR (04/20)...Barreled two HRs in a single game for the second time this season, earning a combined seven RBIs versus the Terrapins (03/29)...Stands at No. 2 all-time for most HRs in program history, tallying her 32nd and 33rd HR of her career against Michigan. 2024: Put together one of the best seasons ever by a Wisconsin freshman batter, appearing in 50 games and starting 47. Broke freshman records for doubles (13) as well as batting average (.365)...slashed .365/.401/.613, each ranking in the top-ten all-time among Wisconsin freshman... Went on a torrid Big Ten Tournament run, going 6-for-11 across three games while setting Wisconsin tournament records in home runs (3) and RBI (8)... Went 3-for-5 against Rutgers in the Big Ten Quarter Finals, with a record five RBI... Pitched 9.0 innings across six games, picked up her first career win and save against Indiana on April 27, while also going 2-for-4 at the plate with a home run.
High School: Played under coach Todd Anderson, 3x 1st team all-conference, 3x 1st team all-district, 1st team all-state, 2x 2nd team all-state. Big 8 Player of the year.
Personal: Daughter of Amanda and Larry Blomber... has two brothers, Derek and Kellen La Haye... as well as three sisters, Mia, Addison, and Avery La Haye
Why Wisconsin: It's always been my hometown school and the Badgers have always had this positive energy about them that makes you want to be a part of them.What Goals do you Have for Your First Season at UW: I’m hoping to become a player that can impact the game and to represent all the girls from my hometown of Verona.
