Mental Health & Sport Psychology

Stephen M. Bennett Student-Athlete Performance Center

We understand that our student-athletes are whole human beings with complex and busy lives who are highly motivated to succeed.

Having easy-to-access, high-quality sport psychology and mental health services often plays a vital role for student-athletes during their time at Wisconsin.

Here are some common reasons that student-athletes connect with us: stress and anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, and sport performance.

Mental Health & Sport Psychology takes a team approach to student-athlete well-being. Our partnerships with Sports Medicine, UW Hospitals and Clinics and University Health Services allow us to deliver care for student-athletes that is cutting-edge, comprehensive, and personalized.
