2016-17 (Wisconsin): Earned All-America honors in the 400 free relay (3:12.94) after placing seventh at the NCAA Championships, also broke the school record in the 800 free relay (6:59.18) to finish 10th and placed 24th in the 200 free (1:45.36) and 25th in the 500 free (4:41.38), additionally, broke the school and Big Ten record in the 400 free relay (3:12.91) during preliminaries ... anchored the Big Ten-Champion 400 free relay (3:13.33) at the Big Ten Championships, also was Big Ten runner-up in the 500 free (4:37.38), 200 free (1:43.78), 1,650 free (15:51.72) and 800 free relay (7:00.05) ... runner-up in the 50 free (23.33) and 200 IM (2:06.57), third in the 400 medley relay (3:53.74) and fourth in the 100 fly (57.76) against Green Bay ... notched five top-five finishes at the Notre Dame Shamrock Invitational, won the 400 free relay (3:17.78), runner-up in the 500 free (4:48.40), third in the 800 free relay (7:20.95), fourth in the 200 free (1:49.05) and fifth in the 200 free relay (1:34.21), also placed sixth in the 100 free (50.72) and ninth in the 200 medley relay (1:46.69) ... won the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:48.49), placed fourth in the 200 free (1:49.12), fifth in the 500 free (4:54.06) and second in the 400 free relay (3:20.17) at USC ... broke a school record on each day of the Texas Invitational, first broke the record in the 800 free relay (7:05.42) to take fourth, then took first in the 500 free (4:35.55), first in the 200 free (1:43.18) and first in the 1650 free (15:52.22) ... broke the school record in the 200 freestyle (1:45.64) during the opening leg of the 800 free relay to help team to a runner-up finish (7:00.40) at the USA College Challenge, also placed fourth in the 400 free relay (3:18.46) and seventh in the 200 free (1:46.96) ... individually, won the 500-yard free (4:44.17) and took second in the 1000 free (9:48.78) and the 200 free (1:48.56) against Georgia, also placed second in the 400 free relay (3:19.58) and third in the 200 free relay (1:35.01) ... won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:48.24 at NC State while also placing second in the 500 free (4:48.57), 1650 free (16:30.52), and 400 freestyle relay (3:21.78) ... gathered a trio of victories in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.07), 500-yard freestyle (4:47.81), and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:19.98) while also placing second in the 1000-yard free (9:54.60) against Minnesota ... earned a pair of runner-up finishes in the 500-yard freestyle (4:50.39) and the 1000-yard freestyle (9:56.04) vs. Auburn, also took third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.75) and helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team take third (3:26.28)

2014-15 (Cal): During freshman campaign, set school records in 500 freestyle (4:31.90), 1000 freestyle (9:26.80), and 1650 freestyle (15:40.17) … also earned fifth fastest time in school history in 200 freestyle (1:42.73) … 2015 NCAA runner-up in 500 freestyle (4:33.82) and 1650 freestyle (15:46.46) while also swimming to fourth-place finish in 200 freestyle (1:43.23) and being part of NCAA champion 800 freestyle relay … named Swimmer of the Meet at Pac-12 Championships after setting then-NCAA record in 500 freestyle (4:31.90) while also winning 1650 freestyle (15:40.17), finishing fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:43.31), and leading 800 freestyle relay team to set American record (6:50.19)

National/International Competition: Earned a gold medal in the 800 freestyle relay at the 2016 Olympic Games … gold medalist in 800 freestyle relay at 2015 World Championships … at the 2014 Pan Pacific Championships, finished runner-up in 400 freestyle, fourth in 1500 freestyle, and fifth in 800 freestyle … swam to runner-up finishes in the 400 and 800 freestyle and also placed sixth in 200 freestyle at 2014 Phillips 66 National Championships … member of 2013-14 U.S. Junior National team in 100 freestyle … won four medals at 2013 FINA World Junior Championships; gold in 800 freestyle relay, silver in mixed 400 medley relay and bronze in 400 freestyle relay and 400 medley relay … took 14th in 200 IM in 2:16.03 and 15th in 400 freestyle in 4:14.40 at 2013 U.S. Nationals meet … at 2012 Olympic Trials, placed 25th in 100 freestyle, 26th in 50 freestyle, and also competed in 200 and 400 freestyle

Prep: Ranked as the No. 5 recruit in the country by CollegeSwimming.com … capped off senior year ranked fourth all-time in the U.S. in 1000-yard freestyle … swam for North Baltimore Aquatic Club for five years

Personal: Parents are Scott and Diane … has one brother, Taylor (25), and one sister, Maddie (18) … father played soccer at West Chester and brother played baseball at Bucknell … intended major is dietetics
