Badgers conclude Round 2 of Big Ten Championships

UW sits in 17th entering final day
NORTH PLAINS, Ore. -- The Wisconsin men's golf team is in 17th after Round 2 of the Big Ten Championships at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course in North Plains, Oregon.Â
Senior Spencer Turtz continued his strong showing from round one, following up with a +1 in his second day of action. He leads all Badgers in 35th at +4 overall. Turtz shot par or better in 15-of-18 holes in round two.
Graduate Jacob Beckman (43rd) and sophomores Jason Shwartz (71st) and Charles Erlandson (80th) each rounded out the Badgers scoring with a +4 on the day. Erlandson finished with the most birdies for the day with four.
Freshman Drew Sacia went +9 and sits in 82nd. As a team, the Badgers shot 293, improving from their round one score of 296 by three shots.
Jason Shwartz and Drew Sacia are both in 69th at +6, rounding out the scoring for UW. Charles Erlandson sits in 87th at +10.Â
UW concludes the tournament tomorrow, with the first Badger set to tee off at 1:10 p.m. CT.
