Six Badgers compete in Ann Arbor
MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin men's tennis team continues its fall season at the Big Ten Individual Championships in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1.
Before the Badgers hit the courts, here are five things to know:
1. FOLLOW ALONG
Edouard Aubert, Collin Beduhn, Matthew Fullerton, Sachiv Kumar, Holger Nissen and Tomas Zlatohlavek will represent the Badgers in Ann Arbor over the weekend, marking the last time the group will compete this Fall.

2. FALL SO FAR
Wisconsin men's tennis has taken on four tournaments so far, with all nine Badgers seeing action. Through the Fall, Beduhn has clipped a 6-3 record thanks to strong performances at the Fighting Irish and Hope College mini duals. Kumar and fellow junior Ferdinand Kloesters have both posted 4-2 records across the tournaments they have competed in.
3. REVISITING ITA REGIONALS
Last time out, the Badgers posted a strong showing at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in Columbus, Ohio. Junior Ferdinand Kloesters posted a 3-1 record in singles play to advance to the quarterfinals of the Main Draw. Kloesters took down OSU freshman Denis Petak in the process, who is ranked No. 96 in the ITA preseason poll and No. 11 in the newcomer poll. Junior Patrik Meszaros earned his spot in the main draw Round of 16 after defeating his pair of opponents in straight sets.
The duo of Edouard Aubert and Tomas Zlatohlavek highlighted doubles play for Wisconsin, defeating Youngstown State's Alex Woiten and Takamasa Mishiro, 8-4, to advance to the Round of 32.
4. UP NEXT
Kloesters and Meszaros will take on the ITA Sectional Championships in Waco, Texas, from Nov. 5-8.
