MADISON, Wis. - The No. 7 Wisconsin volleyball program is back in action on Sunday, Sept. 21, as they wrap up non-conference play with a battle against No. 15 Florida on Big Ten Network. The match will take place at the Kohl Center and is set to get underway at 12:00 p.m. CT.

This marks the first time the Gators and Badgers will battle since the 2023 season, where Wisconsin went on the road and earned a reverse sweep in Gainesville.

The Badgers are fresh off of one of their top performances of the season, as they defeated Marquette (25-15, 25-14, 25-18) in straight sets on the road at the Fiserv Forum.

For the fourth consecutive match, UW hit above .400 on the offensive end—finishing with a hitting percentage of .487 (46 - 9 - 76) against the Golden Eagles.

Outside hitter Mimi Colyer, the reigning AVCA National Player of the Week, stayed hot with her seventh-straight match with double-digit kill totals, as she reached 13 versus Marquette.

Middle blockers Alicia Andrew and Carter Booth were both error-free in their outings on Wednesday, combining for 12 kills on 21 attempts. Setter Charlie Fuerbringer played a key role in running the offense, as she tallied 32 assists en route to eclipsing the 1,500-career assists mark in just her sophomore season. Fuerbringer currently leads the Big Ten in assists per set at 11.19.

The defense continued to put together a quality showing, holding Marquette to a swinging percentage of .087 on the evening—forcing 19 errors.

The Badgers have excelled at the service line as well, where they accumulated five service aces to the Golden Eagles' zero on Wednesday night. It marked the first game this season where UW did not give up a service ace, as they lead that category against their opponents at a 43-10 clip.

After Sunday, the Badgers will prepare for Big Ten play, as they host Rutgers at the UW Field House on Friday, Sept. 26. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m. CT and streamed on B1G+.
