Late goal by LSU serves Badgers first loss
BATON ROUGE, La. - The No. 21 Wisconsin women's soccer team dropped to LSU 1-0 on the road.
How it Happened
First Half
Wisconsin kept the ball on the other end of the pitch for a majority of the first half. The Badgers out shot Tigers in shots (2-1) and shots on goal (1-0).
The score was locked 0-0 going into the break.
Second Half
The Badgers were competitive with the Tigers until the 89th minute when LSU scored off a header.
Although the Badgers were unable to capitalize they had the upper hand in corners (5-1).
