Senior goalkeeper locks down her second weekly conference award this season
MADISON, Wis. - Wisconsin women's soccer goalkeeper Drew Stover has been named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season, following the Badgers' 3-0 shutout victory at Minnesota.Â
Stover recorded five saves against the Golden Gophers to secure her sixth clean sheet of the season and 15th of her career. The junior has now totaled 35 saves this season and started every match, leading the Big Ten with 1,170 minutes played.
Stover will continue anchoring Wisconsin's back line at their next game on Thursday, Oct. 9, when the Badgers host No. 9 UCLA, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. CT. The match can be streamed on B1G+.
