2020-21: Wrestling lone match on Jan. 17, 2021 vs. Ohio State's Isaac Wilcox (L, 5-3 decision, unattached) at 157 pounds in COVID-shortened season.
High School: Overall high school record of 153-34 at Waukee High School ... four-time state qualifier, finishing third as a senior (152 pounds), junior (138 pounds) and freshman (106 pounds) and fifth as a sophomore (126 pounds, after returning from injury) ... capped high school career with two consecutive seasons with 30-plus wins ... earned 66 pin-fall wins ... won the Bernie Saggau Award from the Iowa High School Athletic Association for one graduating student across all high schools who “exemplifies a patriotic spirit, with strong religious and moral convictions, living and professing the qualities of honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship; believing that both games and life should be conducted by the rules” ... selected academic all-state second team
Personal: Parents are Jon and Amanda Anderson ... has two sisters Aleah and Samantha ... father, Jon, wrestled at Drake University (1984-1989) ... plans to study accounting.
