
Condon earns CSC Academic All-District Team honors

Junior qualifies for NCAA tournament while excelling in the classroom
MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin wrestling junior Luke Condon has been recognized for his success in the classroom as he was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
A native of Poway, California, Condon finished out his junior season with a 13-15 overall record at 174. He qualified for his first NCAA Championship this season and was also named to the Academic All-Big Ten team. The Marketing and Supply Chain Management major holds a 3.674 cumulative GPA.
The College Sports Communicators recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and must be in the lineup for at least 75 percent of team scoring events or compete in their weight class at a conference championship meet.
