2025 Indoor: Placed seventh in the pole vault with a clearance of 15-4 1/4 at the Fighting Illini Invite (Jan. 25)...placed third in pole vault with a clearance of 15-7 at the Wisconsin Midwest Invitational (Jan. 11).

2024 Indoor Track: Finished seventh in the pole vault with a jump of 14-9 ¼ at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (Jan. 19)...made his collegiate debut at the Wisconsin Midwest Invitational (Jan. 13), finishing fourth in the pole vault with a clearance of 15-11 3/4

High School: Senior year, was the state champion in the pole vault setting a meet record of 16 feet, one inch… won conference as a senior… finished second at state as a junior… finished third at state and first in section as a sophomore

Personal: Parents are Ward and Janet Nelson… has two sisters, Kendra and Sophie… majoring in mechanical engineering
