2019: Did not see game action
Prep: Team captain for his high school team at Strake Jesuit College Prep…made second-team All-District in his senior season…played with USL League Two team Houston FC, who he has been a starter and captain for the last two seasons…was also captain for the England Tour in 2016
Trask on Fetzer: "Nick is just a footballer from Texas who eats, sleeps and loves the game. Nick has been very fortunate to have played at the adult level over the past couple of years which should make his transition to college soccer a little easier. Nick has been to our camps multiple times and we all feel very strongly that he will have an impact here at Wisconsin."
Tiemeyer on Fetzer: "Nick brings a wealth of soccer experience with him to UW. He has played for Coach Bruce Talbot the past couple years in Houston and has great experience playing with older players. He is very capable of playing in the backline as a center back or outside back and can just as easily pop into the midfield. He is comfortable on the ball, very competitive and a strong ball winner."
