Loren was identified at our camps and having had the privilege to meet him, I know he has special qualities. Unfortunately, for the team and him, a knee injury will force a medical redshirt this coming fall but the staff is anxiously awaiting his return to play."
Tiemeyer on Altman: "Loren joins our program at UW following an outstanding club career in Prior Lake, MN under Steve Leonard. He has been a standout with the Minnesota and Regional ODP program as an outside and center back. He brings very fluid athleticism to the game and is an extremely comfortable passer for a defender."
