MADISON, Wis. - After securing a rivalry win on Wednesday night, the No. 11 Wisconsin volleyball team returns to action for another top-25 showdown on their home court—taking on No. 18 Indiana on Sunday, Nov. 9 at the annual Stuff the Field House match.
The match is set to get underway at 1:00 p.m. CT and will be streamed on B1G+.
Wisconsin Athletics is partnering with the Goodman Community Center to host "Stuff the Field House" on Sunday to provide Dane County families with a warm Thanksgiving meal. Volleyball fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations to the match. All donations and proceeds will go towards the Goodman Community Center Thanksgiving Basket Drive.
The battle with the Hoosiers (18-4, 9-3) will mark the 10th time the Badgers (17-4, 10-3) have played a ranked opponent this year. In the previous nine duals, UW sits at 5-4, recently defeating No. 22 Minnesota on Wednesday night.
The Badgers utilized their strong block to get out to a lead right away against the Golden Gophers a couple of days ago, paced by the likes of seniors Carter Booth and Alicia Andrew.
Outside hitter Mimi Colyer continued to thrive on the offensive end, turning in 21 kills to notch her sixth match of the season with 20 or more kills to lead UW's attack—powering the Badgers to a four-set victory.
Libero Kristen Simon has been a staple defensively, looking to extend her streak of double-digit dig totals, as she enters Sunday's match with 12 in a row after racking up 16 digs versus Minnesota.
Wisconsin holds an 18-match winning streak over the Hoosiers, last dropping a battle to Indiana in the 2012 season. In the Kelly Sheffield era, the Badgers have never lost a match to the Hoosiers. During that winning streak, UW has secured sweeps in 14 of those matches.
After Sunday's match, the Badgers will get back on the road to take on Michigan State from East Lansing on Friday, Nov. 14. First serve is slated to take place at 6:00 p.m. CT, and will be streamed on B1G+.
