Wisconsin will take on Pitt to kick off the 2027 season in Ireland
MADISON, Wis. – Official Ticket Packages for Wisconsin football's 2027 season opener against Pitt in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic are on sale now. The Badgers and Panthers will open the season on August 28, 2027, at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
Â
This landmark event will mark just the second international game in Wisconsin Football history, giving Badger Nation an incredibly unique opportunity to cheer on their team abroad. Wisconsin's only other football game on foreign soil came 32 years ago in the 1993 Tokyo Bowl. Wisconsin and Pitt will be meeting for the first time since 1967.
Â
Badger fans can now book Official Travel Packages and Hospitality Packages, both of which include game tickets in sections behind the Wisconsin bench.
Â
Travel Packages include premium game tickets (in-stadium hospitality available as an optional upgrade), luxury hotel accommodations, exclusive Badgers Welcome Experience at the iconic Guinness Storehouse and more.
Â
Hospitality Packages provide the ultimate game day experience and include premium hospitality options both inside and outside of the Aviva Stadium with food, open bar, traditional Irish entertainment and premium game tickets.
Â
Badger fans can visit Badgers2Ireland.com to learn more and book an official package. Ticket sections are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so early booking is encouraged to lock in the best seats.
Â
Flight details will be released approximately 10 months before the game, with airfare options available to align with travel package dates. Fans who purchase a travel package will receive direct email updates once flight information becomes available.
Â
Any remaining game tickets will go on sale in early 2027 for fans only interested in purchasing standalone tickets to the game.
