
Men’s Tennis wraps up day one of Big Ten Individual Championships

Wisconsin's doubles pairs notch victories
CHICAGO, Ill. - The Wisconsin men's tennis team began Big Ten Individual Championships action at Nielsen Tennis Stadium on Thursday evening in Madison. Wisconsin's doubles pairs of Patrik Meszaros/Matthew Fullerton and Oliver Olsson/Tomas Zlatohlavek both went 2-0 to begin play in Wisconsin's home-court event. 
Fullerton and Meszaros knocked off doubles challengers Nicholas Steiglehner and Mert Oral from Michigan 6-1 before taking down Northwestern's Dylan Charlap and Vincent Yang, 6-2.
The Badgers' pair of Olsson and Zlatohlavek defeated Indiana's Karan Raghavendra and Aidan Atwood, 7-5, before cruising past Nebraska's Leo Lopez Linquet and Henry Lamchinniah, 6-2. 
The pair of successful Wisconsin doubles crews will take on each other in tomorrow's doubles semifinals at 9 a.m. Round of 64 singles action will begin at approximately 9:45 a.m. Admission is free for fans at Nielsen.
