MADISON, Wis. – No. 6 Wisconsin men's hockey returns home to the Kohl Center for a matchup against the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 24-25. The series begins three consecutive weeks at the Kohl Center to close out the fall semester.

Here's six quick things to know before tuning in:

Rosters: Badgers || Seawolves

1 - A FIRST FOR DEXHEIMER: On Saturday night, defenseman Ben Dexheimer tallied his first NCAA goal with 1:03 remaining in the third period. It was his first career goal in his 48th career game.

The sophomore currently leads UW defensemen with one goal and nine points through 12 games played this season. That has him in a five-way tie for second on the team in scoring.

2 - LINDMARK STAYS HOT: Graduate student forward Owen Lindmark has continued his impressive season, scoring a goal in each game of the series against Michigan State. Lindmark has scored four goals over the Badgers' last four games and currently has a total of six goals and seven points. His 0.86 goals per game is tops among Big Ten skaters and his six goals total share ninth overall.

Lindmark also has four goals in four conference games to share the Big Ten lead with a goal a game scoring average.

The forward's six goals currently match the career-high he set during his freshman year in 2019-20.

3 - NO PLACE LIKE HOME: This series marks the first of three straight weekends of home games to round out the winter semester schedule of Wisconsin hockey. After hosting Alaska Anchorage, the Badgers will welcome Ohio State on Dec. 1-2 and Penn State on Dec. 8-9.

UW will be running promotions on both nights of the series versus Alaska Anchorage. On Friday, Nov. 24, all Mighty Mites teams who attend the game will receive a Mighty Badgers sticker. 350 of Wisconsin youths who reach their reading goal as part of the "Book it With Bucky" program will also be invited to the game. Finally, the first 75 kids to purchase a FEVO ticket will be able to participate in the "Kid Tunnel," UW's longest fan tunnel ever.

On Saturday, Nov. 25, the team will be signing autographs on the concourse after the game. Half of the team will be present, and names will be released at a later date.

4 - THE RANKINGS ARE IN: After being ranked No. 1 last week, the Badgers trickled down five spots on the USCHO's top-20 men's hockey rankings to No. 6. The team received 751 votes.

UW also checks in at No. 6 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll.

5 - SCOUTING ALASKA ANCHORAGE: Alaska Anchorage currently has a 5-8-1 record through its first 14 games of the season. The Seawolves are heading into this weekend after a pair of losses at Arizona State, losing 4-3 and 3-0.

Senior forward Ben Almquist leads the roster with five goals and 13 points. Sophomore Jared Whale is Alaska Anchorage's primary goaltender. Whale has won four of 10 games this season and has accumulated a .909 save percentage.

The last time the two teams met was nine years ago on Oct. 11, 2014 in Anchorage, Alaska. The last meeting at the Kohl Center was Jan. 4, 2014.

Wisconsin's .741 win percentage against Alaska Anchorage (54-16-9) marks its best against any opponent it has played at least 20 times. The Badgers own 33 wins over the Seawolves in Madison.

6 - HOW TO WATCH: Puck drop for Friday's game is set for 7 p.m. while Saturday's contest will begin at 6 p.m. Both games are available to stream live on B1G+ while audio play-by-play will be available on the Badgers app and The Varsity Network App. You can also follow along on X/Twitter and Instagram @BadgerMHockey.
