No. 13 Wisconsin hosts two B1G duals at UW Field House this weekend
MADISON, Wis. - Ranked No. 13 by Intermat, Wisconsin (6-4, 0-3 B1G) returns home to host two Big Ten duals this weekend at the UW Field House against No. 24 Purdue and No. 2 Iowa.
Wisconsin wrestles Purdue (4-5, 0-2 B1G) on Friday at 7 p.m. CT. The match will be streamed live on B1G+ at https://go.wisc.edu/wrst_purdue23_b1gplus (subscription required). Newton Smerchek will be on the call for the live stream.

Wisconsin stays home on Sunday to wrestle Iowa (10-0, 3-0 B1G) at 2 p.m. CT live on Big Ten Network national television (subscription required). Shane Sparks and Jim Gibbons will be on the call for TV. This is Wisconsin's third of four BTN televised duals this season.

Here are five more things to know:
1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers return home after a tough 27-6 loss at No. 8 Michigan on Sunday. Two Badgers won their individual matches as Austin Gomez (149) defeated Chance Lamer 17-10 and Braxton Amos (197) beat Brendin Yatooma 4-0. 2. SCOUTING NO. 24 PURDUE: Purdue lost to Illinois this past week, 31-9 on the road. The Boilermakers got wins from No. 9 Matt Ramos, No. 3 Kendall Coleman and Hayden Copass, but the matches in between all went in favor of the Illini. Purdue allowed bonus points in six of their seven bout losses. Purdue has three ranked wrestlers No. 10 Matt Ramos (20-3) at 125, No. 15 Parker Filius (13-5) at 141 and No. 3 Kendall Coleman (21-2) at 157. Read Purdue's match preview here.
3. SCOUTING NO. 2 IOWA: Iowa will wrestle No. 5 Nebraska at home on Friday before traveling to Madison to wrestle the Badgers on Sunday. The Hawkeyes have won 13 consecutive duals dating back to the 2021-22 season. Senior Tony Cassioppi is 14-0 this season with a career-high nine falls — all coming in the first period. Senior Spencer Lee is riding a 46-match winning streak dating back to the 2019 season — tied for the ninth-longest in program history. Iowa has 10 ranked wrestlers in the latest poll from Intermat, including No. 1 Spencer Lee (8-0) at 125, No. 2 Real Woods (7-0) at 141 and No. 3 Cassioppi (14-0) at heavyweight.
