MADISON, Wis. —
Steven Crowl scored a career-high 25 points to lead No. 15 Wisconsin to a 76-66 win over Western Michigan at the Kohl Center on Friday night.
Crowl and the Badgers (10-2, 2-0 Big Ten) resumed play after a 15-day break, which was prolonged due to the cancelation of a home game previously scheduled Dec. 23 against Grambling State.
Chucky Hepburn scored 11 points, hitting three of his four 3-point shots, while
Tyler Wahl rounded out double-figure scorers for UW with 10 points.
Jordan Davis added nine points, while
Connor Essegian finished with eight points and
Max Klesmit had seven points.
UW shot 51.9 percent (28-for-54) from the floor, including 44.4 percent (12-for-27) from beyond the arc.
Up next, Wisconsin resumes Big Ten play hosting Minnesota at the Kohl Center on January 3.
