MADISON, Wis. — Winners in five of its last six games, Wisconsin seeks its fourth-straight win when it hosts Rutgers on Sunday at the Kohl Center. Tip is set for noon (CT) on BTN.
1) BEATING THE BEST:Â Wisconsin is 6-1 against teams ranked the top 25 of the NET rankings, tied for the most wins of any team in the NCAA. The Badgers have four wins over AP Top-25 ranked teams, tied for fourth-most in the country and trailing only Baylor, Oregon and Iowa.
2) CHARITY STRIPE:Â The Badgers closed out another Big Ten Conference win at the free throw line Tuesday vs. Purdue, shooting 19-for-20 (15-for-16 FT in the second half alone). The effort was the best free throw shooting performance by Wisconsin since 2014.
3) BUILT FORD TOUGH:Â
Aleem Ford had a career day in Tuesday night's victory over the Boilermakers. Ford scored a career-high 19 points on a career-best five three-pointers and a team-high seven rebounds. The redshirt junior has now tallied double-figures in four of UW's past five games leading the Badgers to four victories over that period.
4) LEAVE IT TO REUVERS:Â
Nate Reuvers has been Mr. Reliable for the Badgers this season scoring in double figures in 20 of UW's 25 games. While averaging 13.5 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game, the junior forward has also emerged as an elite presence on defense with 54 blocks on the season, tied for fourth-most in the Big Ten. Reuvers has 140 career blocks and needs just 14 rejections to break
Ethan Happ's school record (154).
5) SCOUTING RUTGERS: Rutgers is led in scoring by Ron Harper Jr. who is averaging 11.8 points per game on 44.8 percent (112-for-250) shooting from the field, plus an average of 5.7 rebounds per game. Coached by Steve Pikiell, the Scarlet Knights have earned notable wins over Seton Hall, Penn State, Purdue and Illinois.

The Badgers earned their third-straight win, edging out Purdue, 69-65, a tightly-contested battle on Tuesday night at the Kohl Center.
