Head Coach Tony Granato:
"It was a good effort by our guys to get close, but we have to push it to the other side a little bit. With four games to go to be ready... this is a time to find ways to be a little bit better and give a little bit more because we're not far away. We're really not. We're skilled, we should have learned from a lot of lessons we've gone through this year. So get at it on Monday, and Arizona State will be another good team next weekend."
Junior Forward Ty Pelton-Byce:
On the momentum in the third period
"Obviously, them scoring didn't help. When you're trying to battle back and they get a goal it is pretty tough on morale but I thought we stayed with it pretty well."
Freshman Forward Cole Caufield:
On improving this weekend
"I think our mindset going forward is that every game is a playoff game. I liked how our team battled back, tonight especially. Splits aren't what we want but I liked how our team played and I liked the fight. We've got a bunch of guys that want to be here and want to win. It was a good weekend, we've got a lot of positives to look forward to."
Up Next: Wisconsin will play host to its final home series of the season next weekend against No. 10 Arizona State. Game times are 7 p.m. both Friday and Saturday night with radio broadcasts on WIBA 1310.
