MADISON, Wis. — The Badgers return home looking to bounce back against No. 14 Michigan State on Saturday at the Kohl Center. Tip is set for noon (CT) on FOX.
Fans attending Saturday's game are encouraged to
check the seating chart and dress accordingly and help "Stripe Out" the Kohl Center.
AreaRED students, asked to wear white apparel for the Stripe Out, are also encouraged to arrive early for a free breakfast buffet outside of Section 115, courtesy HyVee. The breakfast buffet includes eggs, hash browns and sausage links.

1) WRECKING THE RANKED:Â The Badgers are no strangers to ranked matchups this season. During the month of January alone, Wisconsin strung together three consecutive wins over ranked opponents (at #5 Ohio State, at #20 Penn State, #17 Maryland) for the first time since 2015-16. Four of UW's losses have come against a team in the current top-25 in the country (at #25 Rutgers, #19 Illinois, at No. 18 Iowa, at No. 14 Michigan State). Wisconsin has faced nine teams that are currently in or were previously ranked among the AP Top-25 this year.Â
2) BATTLE TESTED: The Badgers rank No. 31 in the NET Rankings, as of Jan. 31, which also ranks UW as facing the third-toughest schedule in the nation. ​​​UW has tallied three wins over AP Top 25 teams so far this season, winning at #5 Ohio State, vs. #17 Maryland and at #20 Penn State.
3) LEAVE IT TO REUVERS:Â
Nate Reuvers has been Mr. Reliable for the Badgers this season scoring in double figures in 17 of UW's 21 games. While averaging 13.8 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game, the junior forward has also emerged as an elite presence on defense with 44 blocks on the season, good for third-most in the Big Ten. Reuvers has 130 career blocks and needs just 25 rejections to break
Ethan Happ's school record (154).
4) SCOUTING SPARTY Michigan State is led by senior guard Cassius Winston who is averaging 18.8 points per game and 2.2. rebounds per game over 16 starts. The Spartans have also received quality production from junior forward Xavier Tillman who is averaging a double-double (13.9 points, 10.1 rebounds) per game this season. Despite a slower-start than usual from a Tom Izzo-led Michigan State team, MSU's losses have come against top-ranked competition including No. 2 Kentucky and No. 10 Duke.Despite its prominent home record, away from the Breslin Center the Spartans are just 3-2 in away games.
5) BIG WINS:Â The Badgers have tallied five Quadrant 1 wins this season, tied for the most in the Big Ten. In fact, only five teams in the nation have more. UW has now played 12 Quad 1 games, more than any other team in the country.

The Badgers dropped a heartbreaker in Iowa City falling 68-62 to the No.18 Hawkeyes at Carver-Hawkeye Arena .
- The Hawkeyes (15-5, 6-3 Big Ten) trailed 57-45 with 7:13 to play before going on a 19-2 run. Joe Toussaint's layup and free throw with 1:20 to go gave Iowa a 60-59 lead, and the Hawkeyes did not trail again.
- D'Mitrik Trice led Wisconsin (12-9, 5-5) with 16 points and nine rebounds.
- UW was out-rebounded, 46-40 in the loss.
- Junior Nate Reuvers added 13 points, three rebounds and two blocks.
LAST TIME AGAINST: MICHIGAN STATE
#15 Michigan State 67, Wisconsin 55 / Jan. 17, 2019
No. 15 Michigan State ended Wisconsin's three-game road win streak with a 67-55 victory on Friday night in East Lansing, Michigan.
- Junior forward Nate Reuvers led the way for the Badgers scoring 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting, while also tallying seven rebounds and two blocks.
- Sophomore guard Kobe King scored 10 points, while junior guards Brad Davison and D'Mitrik Trice had nine points each.
- UW allowed MSU to shoot 46.6 from the floor, while UW shot just 35.6 percent from the field itself in the loss.
- Wisconsin was 9-for-11 (81.8 percent)Â from the free throw line.
ALL-TIME SERIES: MICHIGAN STATE
- Friday's game marks the 148th meeting between Wisconsin and Michigan State, with the series dating back to 1922. MSU leads the all-time series, 83-64.
- Wisconsin leads the all-time series in Madison, 46-26, but the Badgers are looking for their first home win over the Spartans since 2016.
- UW has lost eight straight to MSU, with the Spartans claiming a pair of victories last season in Madison and in the Big Ten tournament.
- Nate Reuvers finished with 19 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and a steal in the 67-55Â loss at Michigan State on Jan. 17.
- Brad Davison scored 30 points against Michigan State in a 68-63 loss in 2018. He is averaging 11.5 ppg in six career meetings with MSU.
- Junior D'Mitrik Trice's older brother, Travis, was a 1,000-point scorer at MSU from 2012-15.
