1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers came out with confidence as they battled No. 11 Maryland on Thursday night, but was unable to hang on in the second half falling 75-57.UW trailed by only one point after the first quarter and came out for the second quarter the same confident way to regain the lead (20-19) at the 9:48 mark. Maryland used four 3-pointers and outrebounded the Badgers to grab an eight-point lead at the half (35-27). UW then gave up 11 turnovers in the second half, eight in the third quarter alone, and brought Maryland to the line adding nine points as the Terps pulled away.

3. NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL BALL CONTROL: Sophomore Niya Beverely ranks third in the Big Ten with a 2.3 assist-to-turnover ratio and 14th in total assists (74) while Kendra Van Leeuwen ranks seventh in both assist-to-turnover ratio (1.9) and assists (97).
4. WE'VE GOT HISTORY: Wisconsin leads the all-time series against Michigan, 40-27, dating back to 1976, including a 22-10 advantage at home. But the last time the Badgers beat the Wolverines was in 2015 (63-53) at the Kohl Center. Michigan has won the past four meetings.
