Nelson secured the nation's fastest time (1:51.85) in a 200-yard backstroke victory over a field including many of the nation's top swimmers and then helped the Big Ten women's 400 medley relay squad cruise to another win in the inaugural all-star event.
Â
UW senior
Jess Unicomb notched a third-place finish (1:54.27) in the 200 backstroke behind her teammate, completing a Big Ten sweep in the event.Â
Â
Also standing out was junior Cam Tysoe, who continued his outstanding season by racing to third (1:41.96) in the men's 200 backstroke. Â
