MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin continues its six-game homestand when Chicago State comes to Madison for a Dec. 27 tilt. Tip is set for 8 p.m. (CT) on ESPNU.
Up next, Wisconsin wraps up non-conference play on Dec. 30 against UMass Lowell before resuming Big Ten action at home against Indiana on Jan. 2. The Badgers and UML will tip at 3 p.m. on Big Ten Network.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW: CHICAGO STATE
1. TOUGHEST STRETCH: Wisconsin has played arguably the toughest schedule in the country so far. The Badgers have played eight games against the KenPom top-60, the most in the nation. UW is also one of four teams in the country that has played four ranked teams this season.
2. BEEN HERE BEFORE: Wisconsin is .500 or below through 13 games for the first time since 2001-02, the first year under Bo Ryan and Greg Gard. That team was 7-6 and rallied to finish 19-13, winning a share of the Big Ten championship and reaching the NCAA tournament.
3. GARD IN CONTROL:Â With a record of 48-25 (.658), Greg Gard owns the third-highest win percentage in school history (min. 60 games) behind Hall of Famers Bo Ryan (.737) and Walter Meanwell (.712). He has gone 25-13 (.658) in Big Ten play.
4. HEATING UP:Â Wisconsin has shot over 50% from the field in each of its last two games, shooting 52.4%.
5. THISCLOSE:Â Wisconsin has lost seven games this season, but has been within minutes of winning four of them. In each of those four setbacks, UW was tied or within two points with 2:00 remaining.
ALL-TIME vs. CHICAGO STATE
Wisconsin and Chicago State will be meeting for the third time in history, with the Badgers claiming lop-sided victories in each of the first two matchups.
- The Badgers have beaten CSU by an average of 23.0 points in the first two meetings, claiming a 73-45 win in 2003 and a 69-51 win in 2016.
- A total of 10 current Badgers saw action in last season's game against Chicago State, including six who scored points.
- UW leads the all-time series against CSU, 2-0. Both contests took place in Madison.

- For the second straight game, Wisconsin shot over 50% from the field; this time in an 81-60 runaway win over Green Bay
- UW made its first 10 shots in the game, jumping out to a double-digit lead in the first four minutes. The Badgers shot 53.6% from the field, including 61.3% (19-31) in the first half.
- The Badgers owned decided advantages in points in the paint (46-14) and rebounds (40-20)
- Freshmen scored 40 of Wisconsin's 81 points, going 11-for-12 at the foul line
- Freshman Brad Davison led the Badgers with 18 points, the eighth time in the last 11 games he has scored in double figures
- Junior Ethan Happ finished with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in a season-low 22 minutes. Junior Khalil Iverson added 12 points on a perfect 5-for-5 shooting from the field.
- UW's freshmen frontcourt duo of Aleem Ford and Nate Reuvers each tallied nine points and two rebounds. Ford went 2-for-2 from 3-point range and has now made six of his last seven from downtown.
