INDIANAPOLIS – Two months into the fall semester, the Wisconsin men's rowing team sent its sophomores and freshman, many of them novices, to the Bald Eagle Collegiate Invitational to close out the fall competition season on Saturday.

STRAIGHT FROM THE LAKE
Freshman coach Beau Hoopman
"The sophomores did well. The frosh did fine as well. We raced with a lot more novices than last year, but we still have much to learn about racing.
"Our sophomores were 'in the same boat' last year – they did well in the eight, but not in the four – but they are developing well and results showed it this year. I anticipate the frosh will make similar strides next year when they come back to this race."
