? The Badgers moved to 13-1 in the Big Ten for the first time in school history. UW is just the third team to start the conference season 13-1 or better since 2002 (Illinois was 14-0 in 2005 and Ohio State was 13-1 in 2010).Â
? UW has now won 10 straight Big Ten games, the school's longest conference win streak since closing the 1940-41 season with 11 straight Big Ten wins.
? Bo Ryan improved to 346-123 (.738) during his time in Madison. He also improved to 169-67 (.716) all-time in Big Ten action, the highest winning percentage in conference history.
? Ryan posted his 729th win, tying Jerry Tarkanian for 35th place in college basketball annals. Among active Div. I coaches, only Mike Krzyzewski (1006), Jim Boeheim (964), Bob Huggins (761) and Roy Williams (741) have more career wins.
? Wisconsin posted its 12th-consecutive Big Ten home win and improved to 105-14 (.882) at home against Big Ten teams under Bo Ryan.
? Josh Gasser and Duje Dukan were a part of their 106th win, the most wins for any class in UW history.
? Minnesota entered the game forcing 18.0 turnovers per game (3rd In the NCAA). The Badgers coughed it up just 8 times. UW leads the nation averaging just 7.4 turnovers per game, a mark that would set an NCAA Div. I record.
? In limiting Minnesota to 53 points, the Badgers have held 20 of 27 opponent to 60 points or less this season. UW has held each of its last 5 opponents to 55 points or less.
? The Gophers did not make a free throw, the fourth time a UW opponent has failed to make a free throw during the Bo Ryan era.
? UW matched a season-high with 9 blocked shots.Â
