Sign up for Wisconsin text message alerts and win! Badger fans have an opportunity to win a pair tickets to the Wisconsin men's basketball game versus Texas on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 8:30 p.m. All fans that sign up for the Badgers text message alerts service will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a pair of tickets for the game.
The contest, which starts today, runs through Friday, Dec. 19 at 4:30 p.m. Two pair of tickets will be awarded, one pair to a randomly selected fan from the general public and one pair to a current UW-Madison student.
To register for the text message alerts service, and be automatically entered into the ticket drawing, Badger fans should text the word BUCKY to 72645 from their mobile phone or click here to enter online.
The Wisconsin Athletics text message alerts service provides registered users with three to five text alerts per week featuring score updates, breaking team news, ticket announcements, promotional information, special event invitations, and more. The service is free and available on all phone carriers in the United States. Standard text message rates apply.
The contest is only open to registrants who are at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the 50 United States as of December 1, 2008. To enter the ticket drawing without registering for the alerts service, send a post card to Wisconsin Athletics, Attn: Marketing (Ticket Contest) 1440 Monroe Street, Madison, WI 53711. The post card must be received by December 19 at 4:30 p.m.
