ESPN360 To Broadcast MBB Games
November 29, 2006 | Men's Basketball
The Big Ten and ESPN have announced that ESPN360, ESPN's broadband service, will be broadcasting four Wisconsin men's basketball games during the month of December. The games that will be broadcast are UW's home games against Florida International (Dec. 2), Winthrop (Dec. 4), Pacific (Dec. 23) and Gardner-Webb (Dec. 27).
ESPN360 is a broadband video service that delivers video content, both live and on-demand, to subscribers of selected high-speed internet providers. The service is not available for individual purchase if a person's high-speed provider has not signed up for the service. The full list of providers who offer ESPN360 is below. ESPN also opens access to on-campus networks for games on ESPN360, allowing students, faculty and staff to access the service from computers connected to Wisconsin-Madison's campus network.
The Badgers face Florida International on Saturday at 1:05 p.m. at the Kohl Center. The announcers for ESPN360 will be Jeff Friedman and Dave Kaplan. UW is 6-1 this season after its 81-66 win over Florida State in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. FIU is 3-4 and coming off a 65-39 loss at George Mason.
