Thomas Named to Walter Camp Team

Joe Thomas, a junior left tackle with the Wisconsin football team, has been named to the Walter Camp All-America second-team, the Walter Camp Football Foundation announced.

Thomas, a consensus first-team All-Big Ten selection this season, has started 24 straight games for the Badgers. Earlier this week he was named a second-team All-American by SI.com. Thomas, a native of Brookfield, Wis., is a two-time ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 5 selection, as well as a two-time Academic All-Big Ten choice.

Thomas and his Badger teammates begin preparations for their Capital One Bowl matchup with Auburn (Jan. 2) on Friday, Dec. 9.
