Badger Students Unveil The 'Grateful Red'

The Badger Student Fan Club unveiled the nickname for the student section at the Kohl Center at last night's Wisconsin-Wake Forest men's basketball game. The section will now be known as the "Grateful Red." The BSFC handed out 2,000 tie-dyed t-shirts to students holding ticket stubs for the student section.
The name for the section was the brainchild of Saul Phillips, UW Director of Basketball Operations. A banner now hangs from the second deck of the section, which encompasses sections 114-116, 214-216 and 314-316. Here are some pictures of the "Grateful Red" in action.
